According to our colleagues at La Provence, Newcastle’s attacking midfielder Rémy Cabella is expected in Marseille today, more precisely at Marseille’s training centre, to finalise a loan move from the Magpies.
Newcastle and Marseille agreed to a buy-out option worth €8m-€9m yesterday. Florian Thauvin is set to go the other way after a €17m + €3m bonuses offer was accepted in principle by OM over the weekend. Thauvin will travel to Newcastle this morning for contract talks. NUFC are offering a 6 year deal worth €3m a year.
