Lille’s captain Rio Mavuba is heading closer and closer to an exit from the club this summer. His contract runs out at the end of the season, and the player says that a move away from LOSC this summer is looking more and more likely.
He told French daily newspaper L’Equipe: ‘I am closer to an exit. There are no discussions with the leaders of the club. No proposed extension. Am I disappointed not to extend? No, it is what it is. My wish? To go abroad. It could be good. I hope the situation is fixed before the end of the season.’
