33 year old full-back Rod Fanni has confirmed that this weekend’s Le Classique will be his last and that he will be leaving Marseille at the end of the season.
Speaking to Marseille’s official website, Fanni had the following to say:
“It is no secret. My contract is expiring at the end of the season. In my mind, this is my last Clasico. I want to finish beautifully, exit through the large door, leave a good mark here. I love Marseille, I have this club in my heart. I want to give the fans something beautiful at Marseille on Sunday night. If I can leave on that note, it would be marvellous.”
