Speaking to the Daily Mail, Manchester City’s Frenchman Samir Nasri said that the prospect of the club signing new players did not frighten him and that he would remain and fight for his place.
He had the following to say:
“If you want to be competitive, you have to have good players and a good bench as well. They can buy anyone they want. If you want to play, you have to perform in training. When you get some games, you have to take the opportunity… I spoke with the manager and he told me he wanted me to stay. The club did well. Yes, I had a bad season, I didn’t do everything right.”
