According to this morning’s Le Parisien, Samir Nasri’s name was brought into the investigation surrounding the alleged blackmail of Mathieu Valbuena by one of the key suspects, Axel Angot, during the latter individual’s questioning.
According to the report, the name Samir came up in a wiretap of a conversation between two suspects in the ongoing investigation on the 16th September.
The conversation was had between Moustapha Zouaoui and Axel Angot, with the former indicating to the latter that Samir Nasri had offered his services to play the role of an intermediary.
Angot then confirmed this, according to the report, in a court hearing. If this is the case, then Samir Nasri’s claims from yesterday suggesting that he has not spoken to Mr Zouaoui for eight years, might be taken into question.
