According to Sky Italia, Roma and Tottenham are currently in the process of loan negotiations for Frenchman and club captain Younes Kaboul.
However, the problem at the moment is that Tottenham want to impose an obligatory buy-out option, whereas AS Roma want an option to buy. An agreement is close otherwise in terms of wage-paying percentage.
The Daily Mail report the Italian club want to sign the defender on loan until the end of the season with a fixed £4million permanent transfer in the summer.
Sky Italia report that Kaboul was not even Roma’s first choice Spurs defender. They claim that the Italian side were actually looking at a deal involving Vlad Chiriches but when that broke down, they turned their attention towards Kaboul and have now engaged in talks about the player.
