Ligue 1 side St Étienne are believed to be in talks with Premier League outfit Manchester City over a possible club youth academy partnership agreement, according to Le Progrès.
Manchester City have sent representatives to the club’s training ground today and yesterday and talks are ongoing, but certainly heading in a positive direction.
Such an agreement would see Manchester City receive preferential treatment when St Étienne academy products impress in terms of transfers and vice-versa for loan deals.
St Étienne are currently trialling Manchester City youngster Divine Yelsarmba Naah. The Ghanian 18 year old attacking midfielder had recently returned from a loan at Stromsgodset.
