Creteil have announced that 51 year old Thierry Froger is to become their new manager. It had been rumoured that ex-France manager Jacques Santini, who others may remember from his short spell at Tottenham, was to take the job, but he was quick to reject the claims.
Froger seemed very happy to accept the job, and was quoted as saying: ‘This (managing Creteil) is a project that greatly attracted me. There is a great potential here for the club to evolve. Above all, it is a club which resembles me: hard working, and based on strong relationships.’
