GFFN can confirm that Tottenham Hotspur have rejected an opening bid for their club captain Younes Kaboul from Turkish side Besiktas. Kaboul has recently been out of favour with the Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and incidentally the last game that he played was against the very Europa League rivals that are trying to sign him.
According to senior sources at Besiktas, unless Tottenham are willing to alter their currently undisclosed asking price, a deal for the Turkish side remains impossible.
