The Brazilian defender Wallace Fortuna dos Santos has expressed his desire to remain at the club this January on loan from Sporting Braga.
The 20 year old faces stiff competition from fellow centre backs Ricardo Carvalho and Aymen Abdennour. He announced that he wants to finish the season at Monaco and that, although he would rather have more game time, he accepts that he needs to be patient. The Brazilian will remain one of the three players loan from Portuguese clubs at Monaco along with Bernardo Silva and Fabinho.
