Despite reports of a possible loan move to Bordeaux, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he would prefer to keep the player at the club this transfer window or see him go on loan in the Premier League. Wenger was talking after Arsenal’s 2-0 FA Cup win at home to Hull City:
“Yaya Sanogo at the moment is here. He is different from Podolski, because Podolski was frustrated. Sanogo is searching for experience. Personally, I said many times I prefer (him to stay in) the Premier League (If he goes on loan).”
