Former Marseille legend Lucho Gonzalez has offered his services to the club for a one season deal, according to L’Équipe.
The 35 year old is currently contracted to River Plate, but the Argentinian side would presumably allow Gonzalez to leave for free.
The player’s representatives have spoken to Marseille rep Igor Levin as well as manager Franck Passi, who is not convinced by a proposal which would delight OM fans.
AC Milan striker Jérémy Menez has also been offered to Marseille, but he is not currently a priority. The situation might change though.
