AC Ajaccio escape punishment from the DNCG & will remain in Ligue 2

The French football financial watchdog the DNCG ruled today that Corsican side AC Ajaccio would be in Ligue 2 next season, despite having initially decided to relegate the club down a division due to financial mismanagement.

AC Ajaccio are believed to have promised that the imminent sale of Vincent Marchetti, who is understood to be headed to Lorient, will balance their books.
