Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has spoken to RMC tonight and applied his form of pressure on the ongoing situation between Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena as well as refusing to rule out a possible move to France and Ligue 1.
Griezmann had the following to say on the sextape scandal and the possible returns of Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema to the French national team:
“Of course. Everybody wants them [to return]. They are important players and we hope that they will be present.”
Griezmann then spoke about his future:
“For the moment, in terms of my career plan, it is to try to go as far as possible in the Champions League and to win the Euros. I am only thinking about that and I do not want to leave [Atletico]. Joining a team in France? Maybe, you never know in football. But this is not something that is on the agenda at the moment.”
