According to France Football, Premier League side Arsenal have held discussions with Leicester City over a double swoop for N’Golo Kanté and Riyad Mahrez.
These discussions are understood to have only occurred at an introductory level.
As for Mahrez, despite claims from the Leicester owner suggesting that the Algerian international had no intention of leaving, that is not necessarily the case.
Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all also interested in the former Le Havre man, with the latter two Spanish sides having made approaches for the player.
At the time of writing, Leicester City have yet to receive any official offers for Mahrez, but that situation is likely to rapidly change in the coming weeks.
