For David Ginola, the next hours are crucial

Yesterday late afternoon initial reports came through suggesting David Ginola had suffered a heart attack.

Although these reports were downplayed by the former PSG man’s entourage, late last night new troubling details emerged from an eyewitness account of TV programme L’Equipe du Soir.

David Ginola remains in a coma and was operated on by a man called Gilles Dreyfus, a heart specialist, for three hours last night, according to Nice Matin.

Ginola’s condition remains stationary and the next hours will be crucial. The local newspaper has offered some optimism, suggesting that the operation went well and that given Ginola’s age, there is good reason to be hopeful.
