German side Hamburg have offered €12m to sign Newcastle United midfielder and French international Moussa Sissoko, according to L’Équipe.
Rafa Benitez maintains his position that he has absolutely no intention of selling the player, but Sissoko has made it very clear that he intends to do everything in his power to leave Newcastle United this summer.
Chelsea and Liverpool have been in touch about the player’s availability over the last 18 months, but the Premier League market tends to get going a little later on in the summer.
Newcastle are in any case going to want about €5m more in order to let go of the player minimum.
Sissoko could be tempted by a move to Hamburg in the event that his former teammate at Toulouse Cheikh M’Bengue also joins him with the German outfit.
