Julian Draxler close to provisional agreement with PSG

German international attacking midfielder Julian Draxler is close to reaching a provisional contract agreement with PSG foe January transfer window move, according to RMC.

The Wolfsburg player is understood to have agreed to move to Les Parisiens and discussions over a 4.5 year contract are currently occurring.

PSG have yet to submit a formal offer to Wolfsburg, with certain members of the PSG decision-making team questioning whether it is wise to spend €40m to €45m on the German, having arguably made transfer window errors in the summer by purchasing Jesé and Grzegorz Krychowiak for a combined €55m, according to L’Équipe.

A couple of weeks ago, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi met with one of Germany’s most powerful agents, Roger Wittmann, about facilitating the deal.

Talks continue, with Arsenal still allegedly interested.
