Speaking in an interview in today’s L’Équipe, Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly admitted that he felt like he might be leaving the club this summer.
He had the following to say:
“I still have three years on my contract with Napoli. I was very happy to sign for five years at the time, but well, I have done very good things this season and there are offers on the table… Contract extension negotiations are going nowhere.”
He then spoke about whether or not he had had discussions with Antonio Conte:
“No, I have not yet spoken with him but that could happen soon. If nothing happens with Napoli, I will start to make contact with other clubs.”
