Lyon manager Bruno Génésio spoke about striker Alexandre Lacazette’s future in today’s press conference.
“He feels good here. Sometimes, you believe that the grass is greener on the other side. Many players who left for abroad came back afterwards to France. He is in a club where everyone is helping him. His current thoughts are right now the right ones. I am still quite confident with this situation, even if we are not quite there yet. I think that the best decision for him is to stay for at least a year. Many foreign clubs keep their players for their entire career, like Roma with Totti and De Rossi. Why not do the same here with Lyon? We are starting to have great resources, with a new stadium and a new training centre.”
