According to our colleagues at Foot Mercato, Premier League side Manchester United continue to persist for French international Lassana Diarra.
Diarra’s priority this summer was initially to return to the Premier League after spells at Arsenal, Chelsea and Portsmouth in the past.
The Red Devils are in regular contact with the player’s representatives, and are hoping to make Diarra a formal offer in the coming weeks, but they are waiting from a concrete sign from the player himself.
Diana wants to play in the Champions League next season and is therefore waiting until the Premier League season is over, to see Manchester United can finish in a position high enough in order to obtain that.
PSG are also making a play for Diarra in a major way. Talks have occurred between Diarra and Létang on multiple occasions. Les Parisiens’s project pleases Diarra and that is where he will undoubtedly head this summer if a Premier League side offering Champions League football does not come forward.
