Minister for Transport assures fans over strike troubles in St Denis

The French Minister for Transport has guaranteed all fans that they will be able to get to the Stade de France tonight to watch France vs Romania, despite continued strike action from various unions within the transport sector in France.

Alain Vidalies has decided to lay on free bus shuttles from Paris to St Denis for fans who could be affected by the planned metro disruptions.

The French government is also considering forcibly reversing the union pertaining to the RER’s decision to strike by making it illegal to do so for this evening in order to force them to work.

The French government remains confident that there will be no transport issues this evening in Paris.
