Speaking to reporters following PSG’s draw to Arsenal, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi denied the existence of a Hatem Ben Arfa problem.
“I am very proud of my players, my team and my coach. We played a great match, but the result does not show what we did on the pitch. We could have won by three or four goals. We need to continue to work. I have confidence in my players to show that we are a great team… I have great confidence in Edi (Cavani). He is a great striker, one of the best in the world. He wants to score goals. His first goal is magnificent, it is a shame that he does not score after that. Confidence is coming, he believes in himself. It is normal to not always score.”
“We also have Jesé up front. On the bench, we have players of a top level. But today, we need to continue to work. Ben Arfa? It was the coach’s decision that everyone respects and that I also respect. I do not want to speak about this because there is no problem at all.”
