Saint-Etienne have officially confirmed that they have completed the signing of Montpellier midfielder Bryan Dabo on a four-year-contract.
24-year-old Dabo joins from Montpellier where he played for nine years, and will be a huge signing for Les Vert. Dabo spent time on loan at Blackburn Rovers in England for six months, but the box-to-box midfielder will add a lot of steel and hard work to the Saint-Etienne midfield.
“I am very proud to join AS Saint-Etienne. This club is a huge part of French footballing heritage,” said Dabo.
“I know that the passion of the fans is outstanding. ASSE is one of the three most popular clubs in France. I am a player who love the pressure, loves when a public supports and loves having an obligation to get results.”
ASSE manager Christophe Galtier commented by saying “This profile was missing in midfield. He is 24 years old and looking to take the next step. I believe that the ASSE can help him reach his goals.”
