Official | Santamaria quits Tours for Angers

After five years at the club, Baptiste Santamaria has left Tours FC to join Ligue 1 club SCO Angers.

Santamaria joined Tours in 2011 as a youth academy player, and made his professional debut on October 18th 2013. In only his second game for the club against Le Havre, Santamaria scored his first goal for the club.

The official Tours FC website said “Tours FC thanks Baptiste for the excellent spirit he has shown during all these years and even the last few days in the heart of the negotiations.”

The 21-year-old makes the move to Ligue 1 Angers after a good season in Ligue 2 with Tours, where he played 32 games, scoring 6 goals and grabbing 2 assists in the process.
