PSG kick off the Ligue 1 action in 2016 as they take on Bastia at the Parc des Princes. The hosts currently sit 19 points clear at the top of the table and are well on course to claim their fourth consecutive league title. However, Laurent Blanc will not want his side to ease up and is fully aware of the trouble Bastia can cause, as they beat PSG this time last year, in the first match of 2015.
Bastia, meanwhile, will be looking to move further clear of the relegation zone; they head into this match three points above the drop zone. A result here seems extremely unlikely for Ghislain Printant’s side though, given that PSG are unbeaten and Bastia are yet to win away from home in the league this season.
Earlier this season, PSG beat Bastia 2-0 at the Stade Armand Cesari, thanks to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace.
