PSG have offered Gregory van der Wiel a two year contract

According to our colleagues at Culture PSG, Les Parisiens have made a remarkable u-turn on their initial decision to allow Dutch international right-back Gregory van der Wiel to leave the club.

The understanding is now that PSG have actually offered the player a two year extension, with Unai Emery wanting the player to remain when Laurent Blanc did not.

Gregory van der Wiel was in Turkey this week for advanced talks with the Fenerbahce, and it appears as if, at least at the time of writing, Fenerbahce remain in pole position to sign van der Wiel.
