According to Portuguese media outlet O Jogo, Ligue 1 champions PSG have made contact with the entourage of Swedish defender Victor Lindelöf, currently plying his trade at Benfica.
The 21 year old began the season in Benfica’s reserves before progressing to the first team midway through the campaign following an injury to Luisao.
Lindelöf recently featured in a Champions League match against Zenit St Petersburg. According to the report, the Swede has been contacted by PSG, but nothing further as of yet.
If this report carries weight, it certainly seems like PSG are watching the player when you consider that they have recently been regularly sending scouts to watch Benfica, then perhaps it suggests that one of PSG’s current trio of Marquinhos, David Luiz and Thiago Silva might be on the move?
