According to Le Parisien and Téléfoot, PSG have made a concrete approach for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is their new summer transfer window priority.
The player is understood to be thinking over the PSG proposition, but Les Parisiens have, according to these reports, intimated that they are willing and able to pay the player’s €92m release clause. That figure is quoted by the French TV show, whereas Le Parisien believe that the player’s release clause is worth €60m.
Both Manchester clubs and Chelsea are also interested in Higuain.
Sporting Director Olivier Létang has met with Gonzalo Higuain, according to the Paris based paper, to present the PSG project to him. Nicola Higuain, who is the player’s brother and agent, was in Paris last weekend. He held more discussions with PSG during this time and also visited the club’s facilities.
