Bundesliga side Schalke will present Bordeaux with an opening, formal offer for striker Diego Rolan, according to L’Équipe.
The Uruguayan international has already agreed personal terms of a three year contract with the German outfit.
Bordeaux, on their part, deny the existence of any talks, but it has become clear that Rolan is a principal target for Schalke who have plenty of cash following the sale of Leroy Sané to Manchester City.
