Premier League side Stoke City are preparing a deadline day move for Frenchman and FC Porto midfielder Giannelli Imbula, according to multiple reports.
The former Marseille man went nuclear on Saturday when he posted a link to an article on his official Facebook page suggesting that Porto had received a €25m offer from Stoke City for the player.
Imbula is unhappy at Porto and would like to join the Premier League outfit in question, having had positive discussions with manager Mark Hughes during this transfer window.
Porto, according to The Telegraph, have now agreed to drop their asking price for the player which had previously been in the range of €30m.
A deal appears to be close, unless the Portuguese side choose to change their tune yet again during this transfer window.
