According to L’Équipe, Premier League side West Brom have had a €10m offer for Angers’ central midfielder Cheikh N’Doye eventually rejected by the newly promoted side.
Angers are determined to hold onto their star man until the end of the season, even if the amount of Premier League interest is increasing every week. In fact, an offer was expected at the beginning of the week from Sunderland, but it has yet to materialise.
Aston Villa and Derby County are also both particularly interested in the player. If an offer worth in excess of €10m isn’t enough to tempt Angers, then it is hard to believe that something around the €12m mark plus will not force Angers to reconsider their position on the player.
