Zlatan Ibrahimovic receives improved contract

According to Le Parisien, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become the highest paid player in Ligue 1 again.

But it was quite the Christmas present for Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he realised just a couple of days before the end of 2015 that he was to receive a wage hike for the final 6 months of his deal with PSG.

In this revised deal, which has the same end point as the last one, the end of the current season, Mino Raiola has managed to include three large bonuses which will be activated respectively in the event of winning the Champions’ League, a second should PSG win Ligue 1 again and a third should Ibra finish the season as the top goalscorer and assist maker in Ligue 1.

The new deal also sees his wages go up to €1.5m gross a month.
