Swansea City’s French forward Bafétimbi Gomis has received a sizeable salary offer from Galatasaray.
The Turkish giants have approached the player’s entourage in recent days, and the contours of a contract have been discussed, as Gomis continues to engage in contract negotiations with Marseille about a permanent stay. Sporting Director Zubizarreta is set to make some sort of formal offer for Gomis by the end of the month.
Swansea are happy to sell him to OM if the player and President Eyraud can reach an agreement.
Galatasaray will certainly be in a position to reward Gomis considerably in the financial department.
At the age of 31, now might be the right time for Gomis to “cash in” – so to speak.
