French youth international Moussa Dembélé has in recent hours been the subject of transfer negotiations between Premier League side Chelsea and Celtic, according to The Guardian.
Sources contacted by GFFN have confirmed that the player’s initial desire is to remain at Celtic until at least the end of the season, but sources admit that Dembélé would be powerless but to accept a proposal if it meets Celtic’s £40m valuation, in a deal that would be financially enormous for the Scottish champions.
Celtic and the French youth international striker have had multiple offers this month, but he intends on remaining at Celtic. Both Chelsea and PSG have made a play for the former Fulham man, but he wants to see the season out at Celtic. PSG Director of Football Patrick Kluivert is an enormous fan of the French forward.
