Yahoo Sport report that Payet is not the only individual that Marseille are intent in signing before this current window is up.
Bordeaux and OM are locked in advanced fee negotiations for the transfer of French central defender Grégory Sertic, with the latter side already having a €1.5m proposal rebuffed earlier this week for the versatile defender/midfielder.
Talks are expected to be wrapped up by tomorrow, with les Girondins’ negotiating position severely weakened by the reality that Sertic’s current contract expires at the end of the current campaign. The Frenchman in the meantime has already agreed personal terms with OM.
Sertic shares an agent with Marseille manager Rudi Garcia, which has facilitated this deal. If for any reason Marseille & Bordeaux cannot reach an agreement, Sertic is interesting Werder Bremen in Germany.
RMC have reported in recent minutes that an offer worth €3m would be enough for Bordeaux President Triaud to allow for the player’s departure.
