Jordan Ferri turns down offer from FC Nantes

Speaking to RMC, Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed last night that the club had accepted a transfer offer from fellow Ligue 1 side FC Nantes for midfielder Jordan Ferri, but the Frenchman turned down the proposal.

The 25-year-old has been with Lyon since 2010 and has worked his way up from the youth academy, and has made it clear that he doesn’t plan on leaving Lyon anytime soon.

Given the start to the Ligue 1 season, Lyon may be giving Ferri more chances as the campaign goes on, however the fact that Les Gones were keen to get rid of him may be a cause for concern.
