Lyon have announced they will host Brazilian side Chapecoense in a friendly at the club’s training ground on the 8th of August.
Chapecoense suffered a horrific tragedy back in November when their plane crashed, killing 71 of the 77 people on board.
The game will take place just three days after OL’s Ligue 1 opener on Saturday, and three days before their trip to Rennes next Friday.
Understandably, Lyon have announced that the majority of the players taking part will be youth or fringe squad players.
