Premier League side Manchester City have reached a €70m agreement with AS Monaco for the signing of Bernardo Silva, according to RMC.
The Portuguese international arrived in Manchester last night and is currently undergoing a medical ahead of signing a 5 year deal.
According to sources contacted by GFFN on the Monaco side, the deal could rise to €80m if all bonus agreements are satisfied.
A deal for Bernardo Silva has come much quicker than many expected, with the Portuguese international having been on holiday in Mallorca and the consensus having been that Silva’s future would not be resolved until after the international break.
But Manchester City came in, and they came in hard with an offer that suits Monaco and a destination that Bernardo Silva deserves: a chance to play at the highest levels of the Premier League.
