Marseille willing to throw a player in to sweeten Dimitri Payet deal

Ligue 1 side Marseille are willing to throw in a player in exchange, either one of wingers Bouna Sarr and Romain Alessandrini, in order to broker a deal with West Ham United to sign Dimitri Payet, according to our colleagues at France Football.

This news emerges after the same media outlet revealed yesterday that OM were succeeding in convincing Payet about a return, calling the player “ardently interested” in a return to Marseille in their latest piece.

With OM willing to put up €40m to make the deal happen, and with Payet in the process of being seduced by former boss at Lille Rudi Garcia, this potential deal is gathering serious momentum. At this rate, it is a possibility that West Ham United will receive an offer in the coming days from OM.
