FC Nantes have had a €3.5m bid for 22-year-old Santos central defender Lucas Veríssimo rejected, according to Globo Esporte.
Les Canaris are not the only side interested in the player, with St Étienne and VfB Stuttgart also circling, but Veríssimo appears poised to remain with the Brazilian side for another year.
