Official | Dalbert leaves OGC Nice for Inter Milan

Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Nice full back Dalbert Henrique for a fee believed to be in the region of €20m.

The Brazilian completed his medical on Tuesday and officially signed his five-year-deal on Wednesday afternoon, despite interest from various clubs including Liverpool.

Dalbert, 23, becomes the fourth signing for the Nerazzurri this summer, joining the likes of Milan Skriniar from Sampdoria and both Borja Valero and Matias Vecino from Fiorentina.

Last summer, Nice took a chance on Dalbert and it turned out to be a good decision. The Brazilian established himself as one of the most exciting left-backs in Ligue 1 and made 33 league appearances, one in the French Cup and four in the Europa League,” said the official Inter website.

“During this positive campaign, he was a key figure as Nice kept the pressure on both Monaco and PSG in the Ligue 1 title race, securing a Champions League play off sport where they will now face Napoli after beating Ajax.”

“Under Lucien Favre, Dalbert has shown great physical and technical ability as he got up and down the flank and he provided four assists last season. Furthermore, he was the Nice player with the most crosses (94) and most dribble attempts (100).”
