Jallow joins Metz from Senegalese side Generation Foot.
Born in 1998, Ablie Jallow joined Generation Foot in 2016 and didn’t take long to establish itself as an essential piece of the Generation Foot. Scoring 8 times as well as registering 4 assists in the championship, he was a key player during Generation Foot’s title-winning campaign. The Gambian is a tricky midfielder who can play behind the striker or on either wing and is known for his technical prowess.
“He’s comfortable with the ball at his feet. One of his strengths is his vision of the game. He is always ahead of everyone else,” analyses Olivier Perrin. The 18-year-old also has a lethal left foot as confirmed by his now ex-coach: “He has a real ability to be able to score on free kicks. This season, he also progressed in the finishing department”.
