Lyon have announced that they will be loaning out right winger Romain Del Castillo to Ligue 2 side Nimes. The deal will last for the entire season but there is not an option to buy.
The 21-year-old has been with Lyon since 2016 and spent last season in Ligue 2 with Bourg-en-Bresse, where he scored five goals and provided six assists in 38 games in all competitions.
The forward is mainly deployed on the right flank, but has also been known to play down the middle as a centre forward and on the left side of the midfield and front line. This versatility will do him well in Ligue 2 and may come back to Lyon as a vastly improved player.
