Lille have confirmed today that they have sold full back Sebastien Corchia to La Liga side Sevilla for a fee worth €5m plus add-ons.
The Frenchman played all 38 games for Lille in Ligue 1 and will join up with his new club as they prepare to leave for their pre season tour of Japan.
Corchia has been one of Lille’s most consistent performers over the past three seasons, even winning his first international cap for the French national team against the Ivory Coast back in November.
The 26-year-old becomes Sevilla’s fourth signing of the summer after Ever Banega, Guido Pizzaro and Luis Muriel. Lille have wished Corchia the best in Spain, as will the fans.
