OGC Nice considering André André

Porto’s Andre Andre could be on his way to Nice, although the two clubs are at a standstill when it comes to the arrangements of the deal, according to Nicolas Vilas.

The Portuguese central midfielder is apparently keen on a move to join up with Lucian Favre’s side, but whilst Nice are looking for a loan deal with an option to buy, Porto want to sell the player outright.

Andre is quite a versatile player, making 25 appearances in Liga Nos for Porto last season in five different positions, but only managed one goal across 33 games in five competitions.

Many will look at this potential transfer as a way to replace Jean Michael Seri, but for the moment it is just Nice trying to bolster their midfield. Andre’s versatility will be well suited to their style of play.
