Gabonese international forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has rejected an offer from China that would have seen him earn €41m a year, according to the player’s former manager and mentor, St Étienne boss Christophe Galtier, speaking to BeIN Sports.
“Aubameyang had an approach (from China) worth €41m a year. And €150m for Dortmund. He rejected it.”
Galtier then went on to insinuate that the motivation behind Aubameyang’s decision to reject the proposal was because he continues to dream of joining Real Madrid next.
