PSG launch complaint to UEFA over refereeing during 6-1 loss to Barcelona

PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi sent a five page document to UEFA on Monday, launching a formal complaint at the poor standard of officiating that occurred during Les Parisiens’ 6-1 loss to Barcelona in the Champions’ League last week.

In a supporting letter, Al Khelaifi stated: “The club is not hiding behind the officiating to explain this defeat but the decisions made by the referee had a large influence on the outcome of the match.”

This move follows a phone call that Al Khelaifi had with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin on the night of the defeat.
