Ligue 1 side Caen have enquired for Nantes defender Nicolas Pallois, as they continue to search for a central defender, according to France Football.
The 31-year-old is unsure of how integral he is to new manager Miguel Cardoso’s plans.
SMC had been in talks with Bakary Koné, who has since joined MKE Ankaragücü.
