L’Équipe report today that Premier League side Chelsea have mandated the services of Pini Zahavi in a bid to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fékir.
The French international is unclear personally whether or not he will sign a contract extension and he continues to have difficulties with ironing out the end of his relationship with current agent Jean-Pierre Bernès, with the pair having fallen out.
Bayern Munich remain interested in Fékir’s situation, but Chelsea are currently at the front of the race, with the London club having mandated super agent Pini Zahavi to go after the Lyon man. The Israeli has already had informal contact with the player’s entourage to that effect.
OL are under no illusions of the difficulties they will face in 2019 to get Nabil Fékir to either sign a new contract, or simply remain, at Lyon.
